4Twelve Movie Night

 (Grades 9-12)

We have been invited to join other youth groups to view the newly released movie “To Save A Life” at First English Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 12.  We will meet at Grace at 5:30 to carpool there.  This movie is an indie film about the real life challenges of teens today.  The film challenges you to think about these questions:

How far would you go?
How much would you risk?
How hard would you fight?
...To Save A Life

CREW or Christians Renewing Each Week (Grades 10-12), will be meeting again this year from 7:00-8:00 in The LIVING Room on Wednesday nights starting September 15.  This is a time to come hang out, talk about life, talk about God, play games, and have fellowship with other Christians each week.  Any youth in grades 10-12 from any church are welcome to join us.  Feel free to bring friends, in fact, we strongly encourage this.  Also there is a little rumor that there will be a few SkipBo challenges going on as well!  See you all there! 

Welcome to the LIVING ROOM

Another new room you say?  Not exactly...The LIVING Room is formerly known as the Youth Lounge.  Having various lounges has caused some confusion here at Grace.  We wanted to come up with a new name for the youth area that is more welcoming and separates it from the other lounge next door. 

So why The LIVING Room?  It is inviting, comfortable, and casual!  It is full of life! And it is a place for us to be in fellowship with other Christians.  The center of our homes is generally the living room.  This is where life is lived, where conversations are had, where some families eat dinner. It is where we gather!  

The LIVING Room is a place for us to gather together.  This is a space that is open for youth to come and hang out, learn, play games, and generally LIVE LIFE! 

The LIVING Room has really comfy furniture, a television, carpet, and coffee tables just like your living room at home.  We hope that you will come and live with us in The LIVING Room!
